Command Line Options

PTFB Pro responds to the following command line options.

  1. Empty command line
    Launches PTFB Pro if it is not already running. If PTFB Pro is already running, it opens up the main window.
  2. Up to two, four-digit item IDs
    In the fully licensed version, triggers the items with the specified IDs. See help for Item Properties Triggers Page for more details.
  3. /RELOAD
    If PTFB Pro is already running, causes all items to be reloaded from the data file. Useful when distributing a new copy of the data file to multiple installations.
  4. /NOICON
    Causes PTFB Pro to run WITHOUT its system tray icon.

To open up PTFB Pro's main window when it is running in this state, please launch PTFB Pro again via the Start Menu, desktop or quick-launch icons.

If you wish PTFB Pro to start automatically without its icon, please DISABLE the inbuilt "Run at Startup" option, and create a shortcut in the Startup folder of your Start Menu, specifying the /NOICON directive on the command line.
