Mouse Selection
When you press the Mouse Capture key (by default ScrollLock), CapSnapper will change the cursor to a CapSnapper cursor; select the area you wish to capture by left-click dragging a rectangle. When you release the left mouse button, CapSnapper will capture the selected area.
To cancel mouse mode, whether before or after you have begun dragging, press the Mouse Capture key again.
This function assumes that the screen is not changing significantly during the capture. If it does, you may see unusual extraneous leftovers from the selection rectangle, or unpainted areas. To clear these, cancel the selection in progress by pressing the Mouse Capture key again.
After capturing, if there are any artifacts, you may clear them by pressing the Mouse Capture key twice.
Use the Keyboard settings to configure the key you wish to use for mouse selection.
