User Interface
Do not expand the destination folder when
When you perform certain actions, saving a page to a folder, moving/copying pages or performing a search, Inquiry will automatically expand the folder to show all pages stored there. You may suppress this behavior by unchecking the corresponding boxes in this section.
Browse selected item with
You can choose single or double click to browse a saved page or a folder in the browser. Single click is faster, but not convenient when you need to select a group of items to perform other actions (delete, move, etc.)
If you select single click, you can hold the Alt key down when clicking an item. This will force Inquiry not to browse it.
Enter key allows you to navigate the saved pages tree using keyboard and browse them when you press Enter.
Appearance
Select the language to use in the Inquiry user interface.
You can customize the delimiter used when appending a Web page to a previously saved one. By default it is <hr>. To append to a saved page, please select the whole page in Web browser or a part of it and drag the selection over a save page in the Inquiry bar. Drop it there and Inquiry will offer you to save the selection as a separate page or to append it to the exising page.
You can also use the following macros in the delimiter:
- %URL% - inserts the page URL.
- %Date% - inserts the current date.
- %Time% - inserts the current time.
Uncheck the Display splash screen at startup to start Inquiry silently. This feature works only in the standalone Inquiry version. The Inquiry bar in MS Internet Explorer doesn't show the splash screen when you open it.
Show dates in the saved pages tree allows you to display date/time when the page was saved next to its title. |
