Collect Information

When you browse web sites, you can easily store information on the screen - either the whole web page or a selection on it.

• You can store all kinds of web pages, images and Shockwave Flash files.
• The special Saved Pages folder allows you to save a page with just one click.
• A convenient toolbar button adds the page to one of the ten most-used folders.
• You can also use drag-and-drop and the right-click context menu to store a page.
• Drag a link to the Inquiry sidebar to download and save the page automatically.
• Drag a selection with links to download and store all pages linked to the selection.
• You can append the current page contents or a selection on the page to another page.
• Use the Auto Save button to automatically store all pages you browse to a special folder.
• Inquiry keeps all collected information in compressed files saving disk space.

Manage Storage

Inquiry lets you organize pages to find information fast.

• Create an unlimited number of folders and subfolders to organize stored pages.
• Sort pages within folders by URL, Title, Date or manually.
• Add custom comments, keywords and other information to each page.
• Edit pages visually to remove unwanted banners, menus, etc.
• Search within saved pages for keywords.
• View saved pages with a single click.
• Copy, move, delete or rename pages.
• Use icons to mark stored pages.
• Customize the icons list. (Professional Edition only)

Convenience

Inquiry is comfortable and appealing.

• Click a folder to see its visual representation in the browser.
• Inquiry stores screenshots of each stored page to help you preview the pages on a single screen or when you hover your mouse over them.
• A standalone Inquiry application is included in case you prefer a browser other than MS Internet Explorer.
• Print multiple saved pages with a single command. (Professional Edition only)

Information Exchange

You can share the information stored in Inquiry with others.

• Export a page or a whole folder to HTML Help (CHM), MHT, Compressed EXE viewer or a collection of HTML pages.
• Create backup files to keep reserved copies or to transfer information to another computer.
• Extract all images from saved pages to a folder.
• Send a page by E-mail or transfer it to MS Word.

Bibliography Features (Professional Edition only)

Click the Citation Panel button to use citation information for the selected Web page. You can enter its elements (Author, Title, Editor, etc.) to get a prepared reference in four predefined styles - MLA, APA, Chicago and CBE.

You can add your own styles in the Options dialog | Citation Styles section.

The citation information can be also displayed above or below Web pages you are browsing from Inquiry. This allows you to print the citation information along with the Web page.
