Profile Dialog
This dialog allows to specify various profile properties that can be used for log files analysis.
Profile
Name
Name of the profile displayed in the main window and in the analysis reports.
Description
You can add a description for your profile.
Log File
Log File Path
Source of your log file:
- file:// - Local or shared files (Example: c:\mylogs\logfile.log). You can specify either a log file name or a wildcard (*,?) for log file names. You can also use macros.
- ftp:// - File stored on FTP server (Example: ftp.domain.com/logs/logfile.log). You can specify either a log file name or a wildcard (*). You can also use macros.
- http:// - File stored on HTTP server (Example: www.domain.com/logs/logfile.log). You can also use macros.
- Multiple - Get logs files from multiple sources.
Log File Format
Format of your log file.
Date Format
Available only for Microsoft IIS3 log files:
US format - MonthDayYear
European format - DayMonthYear
Japanese format - YearMonthDay
Home Page
Domain Name
Your domain name in the format "www.mydomain.com" (do not include "http://").
Default Page
Name of the default page that is displayed when a directory is requested directly (in most cases this will be "index.html" or "default.html").
Filters
Filters allows to specify which information from log files should be analyzed.
By default no filter is defined.
Views
Views allows to specify which reports from log files should be created.
By default all the reports are created.
Misc
Time Offset
It is common for the time data in your log files to be recorded in an inappropriate time zone.
To correct this, eWebLog Analyzer allows you to add or subtract an offset to the time recorded in the log file.
Enable reverse DNS lookup
eWebLog Analyzer can automatically resolve IP addresses.

Automatically export report
eWebLog Analyzer can automatically export your report.
Click the "Export Options" button to specify how you would like to export the report. |
