Options

The Options dialog allows you to change global settings and contains the following pages:

Domains

This page allows you to edit the top level domains names (countries and organisations).
ID - This is the suffix added to a domain name (Example: au).
Domain - This is the description of the domain name (Example: Australia).

Status Codes

This page allows you to edit the status codes returned by web server.
Status Code - This is the status code (numeric) returned by web server (Example: 500).
Description - This is the description of the status code (Example: Server Error).

Operating Systems

This page allows you to edit the operating systems recognized by eWebLog Analyzer.
ID - This is the footprint for the operating system (Example: Win98).
Operating System - This is the description of the operating system (Example: Windows 98).

Browsers

This page allows you to edit the browsers recognized by eWebLog Analyzer.
ID - This is the footprint for the browser (Example: MSIE 5.).
Browser - This is the description of the browser (Example: Internet Explorer 5.x).

Spiders

This page allows you to edit the spiders recognized by eWebLog Analyzer.
ID - This is the footprint for the spider (Example: vscooter).
Spider - This is the description of the spider (Example: Alta Vista).

Search Engines

This page allows you to edit the search engines recognized by eWebLog Analyzer.
ID - This is the footprint for the search engine (Example: google.).
Query 1 - This is the first parameter of the query (Example: q=).
Query 2 - This is the second parameter of the query, optional.
Query 3 - This is the third parameter of the query, optional.
Search Engine - This is the description of the search engine (Example: Google).

Files

This page allows you to edit the "files" extensions.
Extension - This is the extension of the file (Example: jpg).
Type - This is the description of the file (Example: image).

DNS

This page allows you to specify the DNS lookup options.

Export

This page allows you to specify the Export options.
See the About Exports topic for more information.

Misc

This page allows you to specify the Misc options.
Remove text after question marks (?) in file names - Remove parameters of scripts that are placed after questions marks from requested file names.
Remove text after question marks (?) in referrer URL - Remove parameters of scripts that are placed after questions marks from referrer URLs.
Remove text after sharps (#) in file names - Remove anchor names (that are placed after # character) from requested file names.
Remove text after sharps (#) in referrer URLs - Remove anchor names (that are placed after # character) from referrer URLs.
Convert file names to lower case - If checked, eWebLog Analyzer converts to lower case all requested file names.
Convert referrer URLs to lower case - If checked, eWebLog Analyzer converts to lower case all referrer URLs.
Show empty reports - If checked, eWebLog Analyzer shows empty reports.
Show grid lines in list view - If checked, eWebLog Analyzer shows grid lines in list view.
Length of visitor sessions - Use this field to specify the length of time (in minutes) for which, if there is no activity by a visitor to your site, the visit is considered terminated.
