Tutorial 1

Overview

Duration: 1-2 minutes

In this tutorial we will learn how to make the background of your pages fade from one color to another when the page is loaded.

Step 1: Open effect clip file named javascript.ccl

First you will need to launch the Coocool Stupid Web Tricks Tool and choose open... from the File menu item.

You will then be prompted to select an efect clip file(*.ccl), so select javascript.ccl.

On the right of the main form panel you will now see a list of all of the effect clips in javascript.ccl.

Step 2: Call Mr. Wizard

Find out Fade in, Fade out clip from list on the right of the main form panel.

Highlight Fade in, Fade out clip and choose Script building wizard from the Script menu item.

Step 3: Preview effect

Now you will see the wizard window. Press the Preview button from left of the wizard window.

This will take a quick look at them in action.

Step 4: Insert the effect into your page:

Press the Insert into... button from left of the wizard window. You will then be prompted to select a html file. Select the html file which you wanted. Now you have got the basics - make a page fade in, fade out.
