Publishing to Local Disk

When you export your Web Page to HTML file, Actual Drawing creates an HTML document that appears identical to the source document when viewed in Web browsers. All images, which don't have own settings (the Use Default button is checked in the Conversion tab of the Properties panel), will be converted with default settings. They will be saved in an image folder of your choice usually a subfolder of the source HTML folder.

Before export a Web Page, it must be open in Actual Drawing.

To export a Web Page

  1. Click Export to HTML file from the File menu.
  2. The Export to HTML file dialog box appears.
  3. Type an HTML file name in the File Name box, or click the Browse button to select a file. Note, if you select an existing file name, that file will be overwritten.
  4. Type a folder in which you want to save the exported HTML document in the Folder box, or click the Browse button to select a folder.
  5. In the Subfolder for Images box, type the name of the folder in which you want to save the Web Page images. If you leave this box blank, the images will be placed in the HTML file folder.
  6. Enable the View In Browser check box if you want to verify the page in browser.
  7. Enable the View Statistics Page checkbox if you want to generate a page information listing.
  8. If the Publish to FTP server check box is checked, Actual Drawing starts the FTP publishing process after the export is completed.
  9. Click Ok to export.
