Drawings and Rollover Buttons
The Drawings and Rollover Buttons allow you to decorate your Web Page with uncommon images and effects.
Adding Drawings
A Drawing is an image layer, which contains a number of images, texts and shapes.
Actual Drawing converts each drawing to image file when it publishes the Web Page. The drawing's file name is defined at the Conversion tab in the Layer's properties panel.

To add a drawing
- Click Drawing from the Insert menu.
- In the work area of the Drawing editor, place content that will appear as the Drawing.
Adding Rollover Buttons
A rollover button changes own image when the mouse pointer moves across it. The rollover button actually consists two or three images: the normal state image, mouse over image, which appears when the mouse pointer moves across the button, and mouse down image(optional) , which appears when user clicks the button.
Actual Drawing converts each rollover button to two or three image files when it publishes the Web Page.Now, the button looks like it has been pressed.You can see, the color of text has been changed.
Rollover Button: 
To create a rollover button
- Click Drawing from the Insert menu.
- The Drawing dialog box appears.
- In the work area of the Drawing editor, place content that will appear as the button's Normal State.
- Click the Mouse Over tab.
- Click the Copy from Normal State button to create a copy of the button's Normal State, and then edit it to create an unique image for Mouse Over state.
- Create the Mouse Down button's state if it's necessary.
Editing Drawings and Rollover Buttons
To edit Drawing or Rollover Button
- Select the Drawing or Rollover Button.
- Double Click the selection box (or press Alt-Enter).
- Make changes in the Drawing dialog box.
- Press Ok to save changes.
The way to manipulate layers inside drawing is similar as in the document window. |
