Checking for Upgrade

The checking for upgrade informs you about new version of Actual Drawing. It queries the PY Software server for upgrade information using an internet connection. A dialog box will appear to tell you if an update is available. You need to establish an Internet connection the checking for upgrade can work.

The program's reading information only, it doesn't send anything to the server.

To switch on the Upgrade notification

Click for check Check for Upgrade from the Tools menu. Actual Drawing will periodically (every 14th day) contacts PY Software server in the background to determine if a newer version is available. If an upgrade is available, Actual Drawing offers to download the new files.

To check for upgrade right now

Click the Check for Upgrade Right Now from the Tools menu. Actual Drawing Immediately contacts PY Software server and ascertains if an upgrade is available.
