Actual Drawing Folder Structure

The Actual Drawing folder contains all the files you need to use Actual Drawing.

Do not move or rename the Actual Drawing folder or any folders within it. If you need to relocate the Actual Drawing folder, you must uninstall and reinstall the program.

Actual Drawing performs best when the application and its parts remain in the folder recommended during installation. This is especially true with the \User Pages folder.

If you change folder names and/or locations using Windows Explorer or File Manager, Actual Drawing might not be able to track files and links properly.

The subfolders organize files according to their use:

  1. \Presets contains the Actual Drawing preset elements, that can add sophisticated functions to your page.
  2. \Sample Pages contains pages that demonstrate Actual Drawing features.
  3. \Templates contains Page templates.
  4. \Tutorial contains the files you need for the lessons in the chapters at the beginning of Building Business Web Sites.
  5. \User Pages contains all the pages you create. Each Actual Drawing file is saved with a .adf extension. You can also save own pages in other locations.
