WCM Settings

WCM Settings

Click the WCM Settings Menu button Settingsto open the WCM Settings dialog box.

Here you can configure AV WCM according to your preferences. For example, you can choose automatic launching of AV WCM on Windows startup, select microphone, enable autoupdate, etc.

 

To configure AV WCM click Settings button on the Main panel.

Record non-morphed streams check-box

When enabled, WCM Recorder will be recording all the streams as non-morphed.

Launch WCM on Windows startup check-box

To launch AV WCM automatically after Windows operation system has been started.

Enable autoupdate check-box

AV WCM has built-in update manager. Should AV WCM be AV WCM has built-in update manager. Should AV WCM be launched, update manager starts seeking for updates. If new update is found, user will be prompted to download and run it. Autoupdate feature can be switched off but user can start update manager manually at any time.

Minimize WCM on System Tray check-box

Ifenabled, you can minimize WCM on system tray. When WCM is On then minimized icon of WCM is of light-green colour, when Off then of red colour.

You can choose between 4 variants of video sizes which is more compatible for you.

Preferred FPS

You can choose between 7 variants of FPS. FPS (frames per second) or frame rate, or frame frequency, is the measurement of how quickly an imaging device can produce unique consecutive images called frames. The term applies equally well to computer graphics, video cameras, film cameras, and motion capture systems.

 

Preferred audio sample rate

You can choose between 7 variants of audio sample rates. Sample Rate determines the overall bandwidth (how many frequencies can be encoded within the audio signal, with higher sampling rates yielding a wider bandwidth). Higher sample rates produce higher quality audio at the expense of higher CPU utilization. Frequencies of up to 1/2 the sample rate can be produced effectively, so to reproduce a frequency of 10 kHz, a sample rate of at least 20 kHz must be chosen.

Mono/Stereo

Modes. Mono (monaural) means only one sound channel, while Stereo (binaural) includes two independent channels. Since the speech engine reproduces only one voice, selecting Mono allows saving some CPU resources without decreasing the quality of the sound.

Note: To close the WCM Settings panel and apply the new settings, click OK. To close the WCM Settings panel without performing any operation, click Cancel. If you want to apply the new settings without closing the WCM Settings panel, click Apply.
