Morpher Audio Effects
Frequency Morpher (in demo version available after free key)
Frequency Morpher effect is used to make a complex morphing of the gain-frequency characteristic. It creates a multiband sound pitch controlled with the help of the frequency graph.
Possibilities
The effect helps make a complex sound frequency morphing. So you may:
- alter the sound frequency within the whole range of possible frequencies by changing the curve form;
- alter voice timbre in a random way. Human ear perceives frequency band as timbre beyond 1 kHz. Thus you should fix the graph curve up to 1 kHz to avoid pitch distortion.
Note:
The abscissa axis represents the input signal frequencies, while the ordinate axis represents the output signal frequencies.
Description
You can alter the graph curve by the following methods:
- Every time you click the left mouse button on the graph a new dot is added to the curve.
- You may delete any dot by clicking on it with the right mouse button or use a combination of the left mouse button and Ctrl key.
- You may drag any dot to a desirable position on the graph by moving the cursor with the left mouse button pressed.
- You can select Log scale check-box to switch between the modes of the diagram display - the logarithmic and the linear scale. The logarithmic mode is turned on if the check-box is selected.
- Reset button is used to delete all the diagram dots to return to its original position.
- In the left bottom corner you can find the reflection of the current cursor coordinates position.
Robot Voice (available in FULL version only)
This module simulates vocoder effect with constant pitch. It is intended for applying to voice sounds. It changes the pitch of voice to user-defined frequency. The result sounds like robot or computer voice similar to those in science fiction films.
Possibilities
By using this effect you can alternate voice pitch or base frequency of signal. This makes voice sound funny. The algorithm used in this effect removes pitch deviations and makes it constant. So, in some way it removes emotions from speech. Voice becomes robotic and cold.
Description
- Frequency – is used to set base signal frequency.
- Balance – is used to set balance factor between smoothed and sharpened frames. Sharpened sounds are much more like robotic ones. And unsharpened signals sound more natural.
