On/Off button: The On/Off button turns AV WCM on or off; when AV WCM is on, the button is red, when it is off - grey. When you turn AV WCM on, you have the access to video/audio processing. If you are not going to use AV WCM for a while, and you do not want to close the program either, you can simply turn AV WCM off and work with other programs.

Upgrade button: Click the Upgrade button to go to Order Page (demo version) to upgrade your demo version to the full version or to open the Smart Upgrades web-page (full version), where you can get new skins, nickfaces, nickvoices, etc.

Before clicking Upgrade, make sure your Internet connection is active.

Nickfaces panel: Nickfaces - this is a new feature of WebCam, which allows you to replace your image with other characters: people of different age, sex and skin color.

For example, if a guy communicating with his friend by a webcam wants to play a trick on him, so he can choose any female sex character and surprise his friend. In that case his friend will be seeing a girl talking to him.

Manipulation features: It’s easy enough to manipulate characters’ behavior, as when you pick one of the characters it will start working in an automatic mode - it talks by itself when you talk to your microphone, attentively listens to your partner’s reply and if there is no reaction, starts to do his usual actions. All you have to do is to periodically paste into the conversation suitable by implication special actions, for example: laughter, smile, kiss, etc. - in order to vary your conversation, to express any emotion or to reproduce necessary gesture.

Nickvoices menu button: What on earth are nickvoices? The word "nickvoice" originated from the "nickname" that people use to protect their privacy. Now you can create nickvoices to match your nickfaces so you can totally disguise yourself in the Internet for fun, entertainment, privacy, anonymity, or any other reason. WCM nickvoices are combinations of pitch, timbre and equalization settings. You can choose a pre-created nickvoice by clicking the Nickvoices button . There are 10 preset nickvoices that belong to the following categories: For Male Input Voice and For Female Input Voice.

Show/Hide float panel button: This button is used for more easier handling with nickfaces (it invokes 'Nickfaces float panel' and you do not have to call for 'Select type of nickface' button all the time). In spite of this, this panel contains funny pictured 'smiles' or 'emoticons' which facilitate your visual perception (you can choose any nickface more quickly now)!

Settings menu button: Click the Settings menu button to open the WCM Settings dialog box.

Skins menu button: AV WCM is installed with the Cyber skin as the default one. Working with the Cyber skin is highly recommended because all operations with AV WCM described in this Help file apply to this skin. However, you can always switch to the WebCamClassic skin if you prefer the standard Windows interface. To do it, just click the Skins button , and then click Classic. AV WCM will instantly change the skin leaving all the settings intact. To return to the Cyber skin, click the Skins button again, and then click Cyber.

If you wish to get more great skins, make sure your Internet connection is active, click Skins, then click More, and you will be taken to the Web page where you will be able to download new nice-looking skins. The skins that you download will be automatically installed in the AV WCM skins library. You can switch over these skins the same way as it is described above.

Advanced panel: Click the Advanced panel button to go to WebCam Morpher Advanced Panel.

Help menu button: Click the Help Menu button to open the help topics.

Preview button: When you click the Preview button you can turn on or off your preview video image.

Recorder button: Click the Recorder button to open WCM Recorder module.
