Video Options
Click the Options->Video... menu item and select the Video tab.
Specify capture rate, playback rate, and compression options:
- specify capture frame rate
- You can enter the frame rate in frames/sec. Of course a higher capture frame rate usually produces smoother videos. But because screen video capture is a CPU consuming task, high capture frame rate will lead to larger file size and more system resources will be required.
- playback frame rate
- the playback frame rate is the speed you playback the captured video. commonly it is equal to the capture frame rate, while you can also enter a Higher/lower value to get some special effects.
- Compression
- you can select a codec( compress-decompress driver) to compress the video file. if you don't know which codec to choose, you can select "Auto Select" and FrontCam will choose a appropriate codec for you. if you don't want the video to be compressed. you should select "Full Frames".
