The Package Installation Path on FTP Server group contains fields which determine where on the target FTP server the application will be installed. Please click Browse to choose a folder for installation.
Here you can choose in which folder the application files will be saved. Please choose your domains main folder first. This is the folder where all your HTML files are stored. Common names for this main folder are "html", "public_html", "htdocs", "htmlfiles" or "websites".
In our example the main folder is "public_html". If you like you also can install WebEditor2006 in a main folders subfolder.
Click "Next>" when finished.
6. Verify HTTP Settings
The installer will need to access via the web the application being installed. The application will be uploaded to an FTP server, so the URL of the web server corresponding to the FTP server needs to be entered on this page
Often it is possible to work out the correct URL automatically, and the installer will attempt to make a guess. If the Upload Directory URL field has been filled in, then you should just click the Next button to proceed to the next page of the installer. Otherwise click the help button for further instructions.
Click "Next>" when finished.
7. Start Installation
- Click "Install" to start WebEditor2006 installation on your webserver.
- After the upload process click "Finish" to configure WebEditor2006.
8. Enter Password
A password dialog appears. Your starting password is "internet". Please type "internet" in the password field and click the "OK" button when finished.
