Common/System/Direct Commands
Common Commands
Common commands are used to define shortcut commands for applications (mostly for Microsoft Office family applications). There can be an unlimited number of shortcuts and all of them are monitored by IVOS simultaneously.

To add common command:
- Press Add Command button
- Specify name for new common command
- Enter shortcuts for the command. Separate several shortcuts with commas. For example: Alt-H, S; Ctrl-S; Shift-Ctrl-A. The order of shortcuts must correspond to the order of activating shortcuts when executing the command manually.
- Enter voice command pseudonyms.
System Commands
System commands are used to perform system actions (like initiating shutdown, calling control panel items) and actions similar for all windows (press OK button, Cancel, Focus etc.)

The number of system commands can not be changed and it comes with initial grammar when the IVOS is installed. User may change set of voice pseudonyms for every find of command.
The only exception is the Focus system command which is located at the very beginning of the command list. Pseudonyms for Focus command are displayed with the asterisk on the right. This means that IVOS expects the name of the window here.
Direct Commands
Direct Commands provide evolving Microsoft Outlook functionality and fast web-search.

The number of system commands can not be changed and it comes with initial grammar when the IVOS is installed. User may change appearance of any direct command, but actual action of a particular command can not be changed. Action of the command is displayed in a description. All actions are ended by the asterisk, which represents command parameter. It is replaced with the actual phrase issued by the user.
As mentioned above, all commands except the last one (Search for *) serve to automate Microsoft Outlook. Search For direct command executes web-search using http://www.google.com.
