Command & Speak Selected Button

Command Button

The user can use this button to switch the application to the command mode. In the command mode the user issues commands to operate the active application. The application then performs the action corresponding to the command given by the user. The user can change from the command mode by pressing the dictation button or by saying "dictation", which in turn disables the command button.

Alternatively user may use pop-up menu available from IVOS system tray icon to change recognition mode of the application.

Speak Selected Button

This button is used to make IVOS speak text selected in the active window. Speak Selected button is available from Voice Bar when it is used in expanded mode only.

Speak Selected command may also be found in the pop-up menu available from IVOS system tray icon. User can also use the command "Speak selected" for getting the same result.
