Uninstall Programs The Uninstall Programs tool allows you to quickly find and uninstall the programs on your computer.
You can select several programs from the list and press the Uninstall button in order to remove them. An advantage that Advanced Uninstaller PRO offers you is the fact that you can uninstall more than one program at a time. The Drag & drop uninstall button allows you to easily uninstall programs by dragging and dropping then from the Start Menu, Desktop, etc into Advanced Uninstaller PRO.
Drag & Drop Uninstall Drag & drop uninstall allows you to take any program icon from your Start Menu, Desktop or from Windows Explorer and uninstall that program. You can perform drag & drop uninstall in two ways:
After you drop a program's icon on Advanced Uninstaller PRO (either on the desktop icon or on the drag & drop uninstall window), it will perform an analysis on the program you have dropped, and present you with several options. If Advanced Uninstaller PRO can uninstall the program, the first option will be to uninstall the program. Please look carefully at the options provided and choose the one you want. Because Advanced Uninstaller PRO uses heuristics in order to determine how it can uninstall the program, it can, in very rare occasions, make some mistakes. This is why it is important for you to carefully review the options it offers after you drag & drop a program on it. After Advanced Uninstaller PRO uninstalls the program, it will perform an additional clean-up in order to make sure that the program is completely wiped off your computer, without leaving anything behind. To see more details about a program in the list, select that program then press the Properties button. Alternatively you can right-click on a program in the list then select Properties. A window containing details about the selected program will be displayed. In case you have a stubborn uninstall entry, you can forcefully remove it from the list by using the Forced removal button. The Remove invalid button searches for and removes all the invalid entries at once. In order to search for a particular program just start typing it's name in the Search box. The list of programs will then only display the programs that match the text you entered. The View style button changes the viewing style of the program list. You can view the program list using small or large icons, multiple or single columns, etc. The Refresh button will reload the list of installed programs. |
