Modify The Properties Of Graphs
After graphs were created, use graph manager to modify the properties of the graphs. First, you should select the expression item of the graph you want to modify in graph manager, then right-click it. This will popup a menu. Click Edit... item in the menu to open a properties dialogbox corresponding to the type of the selected graph. Now, you can modify the properties of the graph by modifying the options in the dialogbox.
Color
The color of 2.5D and 3D graphs can be modified by setting the Color page in properties dialogbox. The graph can be filled with single color or gradient colors. While the fill type has been selected, click the picturebox after it to select a color.
Material
The material of 2.5D and 3D graphs can be modified by setting the Material page in properties dialogbox. Function Grapher provides ten more materials, anyone of which can be selected to use. By default, Metal material is used.
Model
The model of 2.5D and 3D graphs can be modified by setting the Appearance page in properties dialogbox. Function Grapher provides three models - point model, grid model and surface model. By default, surface model is used.
Smoothness
The smoothness of 2.5D and 3D graphs can be modified by setting the Appearance page in properties dialogbox. There are three levels to be selected. By default, the best one is used.
Texture
Use controls in Texture page in 3D Surface Properties dialogbox to add a texture to 3D surface.
Transparency
Use controls in Transparency page in 3D Surface Properties dialogbox to set or modify the transparency of 3D surface.
