Changing View
3D Grapher lets you easily manipulate the coordinate system: zoom, scroll, rotate etc.
Zooming in and out
To zoom in or out:
- Click the
button in the View toolbar.
- Move the cursor over the graphs.
- Press and hold the left mouse button.
- Move the mouse up or down to zoom the graphs.
You can click the button in the View toolbar to see the entire graphs.
Moving graphs
To move the graphs:
- Click the
button in the View toolbar.
- Place the cursor over the graphs.
- Press and hold the left mouse button.
- Move the mouse to drag the graphs.
Changing the viewpoint
To view a three-dimensional graph at a different angle:
- Click the
button in the View toolbar.
- Place the cursor over the graphs.
- Press and hold the left mouse button.
- Drag to spin the graphs. Notice that the speed and direction of the graphs' rotation depends on the speed and direction of the mouse movement.
You can select one of the standard viewpoints clicking special buttons:
- XOY plane view
- XOZ plane view
- YOZ plane view
- Isometric view
You can also use the arrow keys to manipulate the graphs.
It is also possible to change the view by modifying values in the View group of the Plot Options dialog.
