System Requirements

WhoHasNT is designed to be used on Windows 2000, XP and 2003 machines.

Both the GUI and service components can be run on either desktop (Win 2000 Pro or Win XP) or server (2000 server and 2003) class machines.

To use WhoHasNT without the service:

You need either Administrator, or (Account Operator plus Server Operator) rights to the machines holding the files.

To use WhoHasNT with the service:

You only need permissions to browse the file system on the remote server. The WhoHasNT service will handle any priviliged operations.

To Install the WhoHasNT service:

As with any service, Administrator rights to the server are required to install the service - one time only.
