Import

This section lets you configure the importing and deleting thread priority. The higher the priority is, the faster log files will be imported. Please note, that setting the priority to the highest value may degrade the performance of other applications during importing and deleting the log files. The Error handling option allows to skip erroneous log files. It's set to 100 consecutive errors per file by default. The errors can appear in the log files due to your proxy server malfunction.

Import & Delete Tread Priority

The Program Settings | Import

When you import new log files, the local database grows. To keep the database compact, you may delete old records, if you do not need them anymore. Please note, that after you delete records for some period of time, you will no longer be able to generate reports for that period. To delete the old records, select the Delete records menu item as shown in the picture below.

Note: when you delete records, they are not physically removed from the database. To physically remove records, you need to compress the database. Please refer to the Database Compression paragraph under the Console mode chapter. This note applies only to local Paradox databases.
