Getting Started

After installing ProxyInspector you need to do some initial configuration of the system. From now on, we will assume you already have a working copy of the Ositis WinProxy set on your LAN. The server must be configured to generate log files according to the PI requirements. The picture below shows that ProxyInspector doesn't use the logs directly, and uses its own database.

It is necessary to configure WinProxy to generate log files, and tell ProxyInspector the path to them. Please follow the links below to learn more about:

Additional information:

ProxyInspector, by default, uses a Paradox database, stored in the <ProxyInspector>\db\local directory. The maximum table size in a Paradox database is 2 GB. Interbase6 Firebird can also be used as the database server. You will need the SQLPack module for this. You may download SQLPack here:
