Serial-File
Serial-File is a program to record data receiving from a serial port into log file. This gives you a possibility to log the data acting from a serial port for further analysis. It's useful to register records of the phone traffic in corporate systems (PBX), analyze the working of various devices and find errors, etc.
Serial-File program can collect data records from several serial ports simultaneously.
Getting Started With Serial-File
After you have successfully installed Serial-File, use the following simple steps to configure and run it.
- Open the Serial-File program from the Start Menu.
- Enter the serial port parameters (port name, speed, parity, etc.)
- Enter the log filename that the program will write to.
- Click Start button.
