Additional configuration options of the program ComPort/IP Client
- Enable Reconnection
Check this box if attempts to connect permanently failed
- Reconnection period (sec)
Enter delay in seconds between reconnection attempts
- Access Method
Check this box to use Login/Password to connect
Remarks: String "login" with end of line (CR+LF), then string "password" with end of line (CR+LF) will be send to remote host.
- Extra String Method
Check this box to send extra strings to remote host while connection is established and with the end of connection.
- Login
Send text string "login" with end of line (CR+LF) while connection is established
- Password
Send text string "password" with end of line (CR+LF) while connection is established
- On Connected
Send extra string* to remote host after connection has been established
- On Disconnected
Send extra string* to remote host before connection has been terminated
(*) Remarks:
In this line can use special signs of end of line \n – is changed by LF (Line Feed) \r – is changed by CR (Carriage Return)
