Connect to ComPort/IP Server
To be connected to the device using the program ComPort/IP Server you should use the telnet programs, for example Hyper Terminal.
Configuration Hyper Terminal to remote connect to a serial port
1. Run the program Hyper Terminal:
Start - > Run
Enter: hypertrm.exe
Press Ok
2. Enter the name of connection, for example "Connect to ComPort/IP Server"
3. Select "Connect using" - TCP/IP (Winsock)
4. Enter Host address (for example 127.0.0.1) where the program ComPort/IP Server is running
5. Enter Port number you selected in the program ComPort/IP Server for a serial port you want to be connected
6. Press Ok button
Now, if all parameters were entered correctly, you should be connected to a serial port through the program ComPort/IP Server!
