Textanz Charts
Textanz includes the option to generate several forms of graphical presentation of calculated results. Like other Textanz functions, charts toolbar button works in context of active tab - "Phrase frequency", "Concordance" or "Wordforms" . Toolbar button opens a drop-down menu containing all available charts:
"Quantities by frequencies" chart shows how many words, phrases or wordforms in text have particular frequencies:

Quantities by frequencies
The picture above shows that 22 phrases has frequency=2, 6 phrases has frequency=3, 2 phrases has frequency = 4 and so on. Chart is built from current data in left pane : the vertical axis title could be "number of words" or "number of wordforms" for Concordance and Wordforms tabs correspondingly.
"Dispersion chart" shows all positions of phrase, word or wordform currently selected in left table:

The max. value of vertical axis in this chart is total length of source text in characters. Y-coordinate of each arrow is position of word/phrase in text. Labels next to arrows are exact positions.
"Quantities by frequencies and length" chart shows how many words/phrases of given length has given frequency - for all possible combinations:

Quantities by frequencies and length
The diagram above shows e.g. the following. Words having frequency=1 are:
- 1 word of 1 character length ;
- 2 words of 2 characters length ;
- 9 words of 3 characters length ;
- 19 words of 4 characters length ;
- and so on , up to 1 word of 15 characters length;
Words having frequency=2 are:

Every new chart appears in new tab so you can switch between multiple charts in right pane. Unnecessary charts can be closed either by "Close" button or context menu command over the tab caption.
All charts are interactive and allows sizing and moving . For large numbers of results, chart window becomes overloaded with data and it is impossible to get valuable picture in original scale. There are two ways of zooming and dragging. First way is chart toolbar . Toolbar buttons provides navigation to four directions, zooming in and out, and getting back to original view. Second way is mouse operations over the chart. When you click left mouse button and keep it pressed, you can select the rectangular frame which becomes the zoomed area . Holding right mouse button pressed, you can drag chart to any direction.
