Service

mnoGoSearch Service for Windows NT is designed to provide scheduled indexing possibility. The service is registered once mnoGoSearch is installed. To start service, click the Start button in main menu. To stop the service, press the Stop button.

Note

mnoGoSearch Service is available only in mnoGoSearch Pro for Windows under Microsoft Windows™ NT or 2000.

Scheduling indexing

To schedule indexing, use the Service tab of mnoGoSearch main window. You may specify a task to be performed on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis. Every task can be assigned its own configuration file (.conf).

To connect to a remote computer running mnoGoSearch Service, go to Service menu and select Connect.

Select Connect to remote computer. Enter the address of the remote machine you wish to connect to. It can be IP number (e.g. 192.168.1.99), or the local network path (e.g. //network/machine). Enter User name and Password to access the remote computer if necessary. Click OK to connect.
