Web Project

Web project are projects that are published to a RightChoiceDSS web server where participants can enter their judgments.

A RightChoiceDSS website must be configured. For more information about setting up a RightChoiceDSS Web Project server please contact support@tgkconsulting.com

Publish Web Project

To use a Web Project for participant judgments the project must be posted to the web. Use the main menu WebService menu item to display the dialog for publishing the project to the web. The information required to publish to the web is:

• Web Project Name
• Web Project URL
• Banner Text
• Company Code

Web Project Name is the name given to the project on the web server. This is the project name that the users will use to access the project on the server.

Web Project URL is the web project site URL.

Banner Text is the text to be displayed as a banner on the participant pairwise web page.

Company Code is a company code assigned to the project. This is used when multiple companies are using the same RightChoiceDSS server.

When the project is published the model and existing particpant judgments are published to the web. The web site will return a document containing default password for the web project and the default passwords for each particpant. These passwords can be chaned once the user logs in.

Retrieve Participant Scores

The participantjudgments are retrieved from the web project and loaded into the participant's model in the RightChoiceDSS application.

Use the main menu WebService menu item to display the Manage Web Project form. Use the Retrieve button to retrieve the participant judgments from the web site.

Administer Web Project

*PRO VERSION Only

The web project is administered using a web browser. Enter the web project's URL and a web page is displayed to log in. Enter the company code and the admin login and password to access the administrators web page.
