Ignore Equal Ratings & Lock CriterionS

Ignore Equal Ratings

Equal ratings or judgments can be excluded from the recommendation thereby accentuating the differences between the alternatives. Using the main menu Analysis->Ignore Equal Ratings menu item the option to ignore the equal ratings can be turned on and off. When the Show Weights is on those criteria that are being ignored because they are equal are shown in gray in the diagram and have 0% weight in the hierarchy panel.

Lock Criterion

The criteria weight can be locked so during sensitivity analysis the weight of the locked criteria will not change. To lock a criteria use the right-mouse menu in the hierarchy panel. Any locked criteria will appear with a padlock in the icon.
