Alternative Pairwise & Direct Judgments
Alternative Pairwise Judgments
To make the pairwise judgments select the "Pairwise" tab and select a level in the hierarchy.
*PRO VERSION: In the professional version pairwise judgments can be made in the main level or for each participant or scenario. Select the *MAIN MODEL, a participant name or a scenario name from the Participant panel to activate the pairwise judgments for that particular model.
When a lowest level is selected in the hierarchy the alternative pairwise judgments are displayed in the Pairwise tab.
Select the relative judgment for each pairwise. The relative judgments indicate how much more better one alternative is over the other. The following table describes the literal meaning of the pairwise judgments.
1 |
Alternatives are equal. |
2-3 |
Alternative is weakly better than the other alternative. |
4-5 |
Alternative is strongly better than the other alternative. |
6-7 |
Alternative is very strongly better than the other alternative. |
8-9 |
Alternative is absolutely better than the other alternative. |
*PRO VERSION: In the professional version the rationale for the pairwise judgment can be documented in the Documentation panel.
When all of the alternatives have been judged the recommendation is calculated.
Alternative Direct Judgments
To make direct value (qualitative) judgments right-click in the pairwise control to display the direct value judgment controls.
Enter the direct value in the text box for each alternatives.
