Reports
During the work with a project there often occurs a necessity of defining its current status and sharing it remotely with colleagues or executors. For this, the program provides the opportunity of creating different kinds of reports. Reports can be created on both task state and structure of resources.
To generate a report, call dialog Reports by one of the following steps:
- Use Reports in menu Workspace.
- Use icon Reports
on the toolbar Workspace.
Dialog Reports will open in which a report type can be selected:

Reports are divided into 4 thematic sections: overviews, costs, resources and different states of tasks
- Overview - data about different parts of projects.
- Costs - Report on the cost provides with information on the task cost for a certain period of time.
- Assignment - Report on resources provides with the list of all the resources, specifying all tasks which are currently being fulfilled.
- Current Activities - Reports on tasks allow to show tasks in various status: unstarted, unfinished, finished for a certain time period etc.
In the pop-up list at the bottom of the dialog, choose the format to which your report will be exported: HTML, MS Excel or RTF.
Wizard will help you to build the report, querying all necessary information from you step-by-step and representing it then in the report. Depending on the type of your report, sets and sequence of query dialogs will vary. There are two dialogs mandatory for all reports: one is for choosing a project, the other one is for choosing the columns to be displayed in your report. For reports on tasks with a given time one more additional dialog will be presented to specify the period.
Let us study the process of report creating by an example of one of the reports on tasks, for instance, Task for period date.
Choose the needed report type and press Generate. The dialog of time choice will appear:

Specify the period for which you would like to get a report and press Next. The dialog of report choice will appear:

Since we have only one project so far, then we select it and press Next again. The dialog of columns choice will appear:

Mark the columns to be included in the report. The tasks of the report can be displayed in the same order as they are in the project, or you can sort them by some definite criteria. For example, Name - by alphabet , Duration - by duration of task fulfillment, Start - by date, from first to last, Cost - by volume of cost etc. All criteria can be chosen from the pop-up list Sorting by column.

To sort them reversely, activate option By descent.
On finishing all settings press Finish. The program will generate a report according to your settings, save it in HTML and open it in Internet browser.
