Information about Task

It’s impossible to show all necessary information on a task in the diagram. Sometimes it’s not possible because of details abundance in the task. Additional information on the task can be entered into the floating dialog Notes, which is located by default on the right part of the screen. Notes will be assigned to the task right after you quit the dialog by clicking with mouse on any place of the document out of the dialog.

Note: If the dialog hinders you ( for example it hides necessary information or takes a lot of place) you can minimize it and restore later when necessary. In details about operating floating dialogs read here.

Besides, notes can be assigned in dialog Task Information - tab Notes, which duplicates floating dialog Notes.

Call the dialog by one of the following methods:

  1. Apply command Task notes in menu Tasks.
  2. Call the context menu and select Task notes.

After adding notes, do not forget to press OK, to save the changes.

Task Information

This information can be seen in the form of a tooltip if you place the cursor over a task.

Task: In our example let’s add a note to the task "Choose a place". Select this task and enter the note: "The place should be near a pond suitable for swimming" into the floating dialog Notes.

Note: On printing the document the task information can also be printed out.
