Document Properties

Different document properties can be set in the program. Most of them have been mentioned earlier; here all the information is collected together.

Timescale is customizied in the dialog Timescale, which can be easily called by double-clicking on the taskbar in the Chart graphical part. For more details, see the chapter Settings connected with time-Customizing of timescale.

The color of the text, background and time spaces can be changed in floating dialog Format.For more details, see the chapter Changing Gantt Chart veiw- Changing task view.

Document parameters can be set in dialog Preferences. The dialog is called with the command Preferences in menu File.

On the tab General, general settings as follows are specified:

Display at program start - which view wll be opened at program start: Gantt Chart or Projects.

Select style - selecting the type of interface elements display.

Currency - setttings of currency display: currency symbol, position of currency symbol (before or after the value number) and number of decimal digits.

Default calendar is set in dialog Preferences, on the tab Default Calendar (menu File/ Preferences). For more details, see the chapter Settings connected with time - Setting schedule - Default calendar .

At the same dialog, on the tab Save document save options can be set.

At the section Save path, in the field Reports Folder the path where the report will be saved on the hard disk can be specified. To choose the path press arrows and select the path where the report will be saved. The selected path will be displayed in the field Reports Folder.

At the section Autosave options autosave parameters are specified. It is possible to define following parameters: frequency of creation of reserve copies; what documents should be saved- the current one or all documents where changes were made; which name should be used while creating the reserve copy.
