Pictures
ConceptDraw MINDMAP lets you import pictures from various graphic files and insert them into your documents. You can also insert pictures from Clipart and create new pictures by converting ConceptDraw MINDMAP objects to various graphic formats.
Pictures and Graphic Formats
Picture is a special type of objects which can be used in ConceptDraw MINDMAP.

The objects of this type allow limited editing only.
The following picture formats are supported:
- BMP - Windows bitmap;
- JPG - JPEG file;
- GIF - GIF file;
- TIF - TIFF file;
- PNG - PNG file.
Inserting a Picture
ConceptDraw MINDMAP allows you to insert pictures in the document from two source: from file and from Clipart.
To insert a picture from file, do one of the following: |

Choose the Picture... item from the Insert menu. |
Context menu |
Choose the Insert Picture... item from the map context menu. |
The Open dialog will appear. Choose the needed graphic file in it and click the Open button.
In this case picture will be inserted in the centre of the active window. The picture is now part of the document and is no longer related to the file it was taken from.

You can also insert the pictures from the Clipart floating dialog. In this case picture can be embedded in the topic, added as subtopic with picture to the topic or inserted as a single object in the document.
If you need, you can resize pictures.
The pictures inserted in the document as single objects can be repositioned.
Clipart
ConceptDraw MINDMAP offers you a number of ready-made clipart objects which you can use in your documents. Using the pre-drawn clipart objects is the fastest way to create visual and attractive Mind Maps. Clipart objects are grouped in topical sets. Thus, Clipart is a collection of objects usually related to a certain topic.
Use the Clipart floating window for working with clipart objects in ConceptDraw MINDMAP.
To open the Clipart floating window, do one of the following: |

Choose the Clipart item from the View / Dialogs menu. |
