Adding Callouts

ConceptDraw MINDMAP features a possibilty of adding comments to the topics. Comments added can be both hidden (see the "Task information" section) and visual. Visual comments are added as callouts.

To add a callout, select a topic and do one of the following:
Toolbar	Click the Callout Topic button on the Topic Management toolbar.
Menu	Choose the Callout Topic item from the Insert menu.

A callout can be moved to a more appropriate place and it will remain connected to the topic with its shape adapted to the new position.

The callout type can be changed by formatting lines, filling and text. These options can be enabled from the corresponding toolbars and menu commands.

You can also change the callout frame view. For this call the Format Topics dialog (see the "Formatting a Mind Map" section). The following frame views are available:

Automatic, No Line, Callout Line, Rectangle Balloon, Rounded Balloon, Oval Balloon, Thought Bubble, Highlight, Cloudy.

You can also choose the any image from the disk as a callout background.

Callout can have your own subtopics. The subtopics lines view can be also changed in the Format Topics dialog (see the "Formatting a Mind Map" section).

To delete a callout, select it and do one of the following:
Menu	Choose the Delete item from the Edit menu.
Context menu	Choose the Delete item from the callout context menu.
Keyboard	Press Delete.
