Hide & Show Windows
To control the application you must know, and if you want establish the combinations of, the shortcut keys that will allow you to hide and show the windows easily.
IMPORTANT: You can print the list of shortcuts keys pressing the Print the hotkey list button, in the Settings menu.
To hide windows:
- One at a time: Place the mouse on the window you want to hide and press the shortcut (manufacturer suggests Shft + F9) to hide windows one at a time.
- By class: Place the mouse on one window and press the shortcut (Sfht + F10); all the windows of this class will be hidden. Eg: placing the mouse on of your web browser, all its windows will hide.
- By title: Once the search chain is defined, (see Setting options to hide or show windows by title) all the windows containing that search chain will be hidden when pressing the shortcut (Shft + F11).
- All: Press the appropiate hotkey (Shft + F12).
To show windows:
- One at a time: Press the combination Ctrl + F9 (Show last window). The last window to be hidden will be shown. You can also show windows making the main form visible and double clicking on its name.
- By class: The shortcut Ctrl + F10 (Show windows by class) shows all the windows hidden by class even if they belong to 2 or more classes.
- By title: Similar to the previous one, shows all the windows hidden by title pressing Ctrl + F11.
- Altogether: Pressing the combination Ctrl + F12 (Show all the windows).
If the main form is hidden, you will activate it from the systray (if Show in the systray was selected in the Application tab) or by pressing Alt + W.
To modify the shortcuts: You will be able to modify the key combinations as many times as needed. To do so, click on the first field and select among Shift, Control or Alt. Then, in the second field press a letter or function key (F2, F3, etc.).
