Set Alerts or Automatic Actions for Browsers Running When a Wash Starts

Certain items are washed and cleaned much more effectively if your browser is closed. Indeed, we recommend that browsers are closed during washing, cleaning and shredding. Total Privacy allows you to set options for actions to take should Total Privacy detect that a browser is open when a wash is about to commence.
Click on the Running Browsers tab of the Options screen to set options for alerts or automatic actions to be taken by Total Privacy if your browser(s) are open when a scheduled wash starts.
By checking the relevant checkbox Total Privacy will detect and warn you if any of the following browsers are open...
- Internet Explorer
- Netscape, Mozilla or Firefox
- AOL
- Opera
During an automated wash, Total Privacy cannot display a dialog box prompt to obtain your preference at 'run-time', so you need to note your preferred action to take when Total Privacy detects that any of the above browsers are open upon commencement of a wash. When performing an automated wash, you can choose for Total Privacy to...
- Close the selected browsers without prompting
- Not close any of the selected browsers
