Launching StrongDisk Pro

You have to launch StrongDisk Pro to be able to work with protected disks.

By default StrongDisk Pro is automatically launched after the operating system is booted. icon in the right part of the Windows taskbar indicates that StrongDisk Pro is already launched.

You can turn StrongDisk autostart on and off at the "General" tab of the "Options" dialog box.

To launch StrongDisk Pro:

  1. Click Start on the Windows taskbar.
  2. Point on Programs.
  3. Point on Safe StrongDisk and click StrongDisk. icon will appear in the right part of Windows taskbar. If at the "General" tab of the "Options" dialog box the checkbox “Show icon in system tray" is unchecked then icon will not appear.

StrongDisk Pro Main Window

To open the StrongDisk Pro main window, double-click StrongDisk Tray icon in the right part of Windows taskbar or press the hotkey, which is set at "General" tab of the "Options" dialog box.

StrongDisk Pro main window consists of the Main menu, Mount tab and one tab for each of the mounted disks. On the Mount tab you can create new protected disks and mount the existing ones. The other tabs are for browsing, dismounting and changing properties of the mounted disks.

Closing StrongDisk Pro

To finish the StrongDisk Pro session,

right-click the icon in the right part of Windows taskbar and choose Exit from the popup menu

or

open Main window and choose FileClose StrongDisk from Main menu.

On closing StrongDisk all protected disks are dismounted.

Help System

From any StrongDisk Pro dialog box you can open the corresponding help topic by pressing Help button.
