Folder TEMP on protected disk. To prevent leakage of the secret data through temporary files created by applications you should set "TEMP on protected disk:" checkbox and select in the corresponding list a drive letter where TEMP temporary folder will be placed. You can choose whether TEMP will be placed on the protected disk, which you will mount manually in the beginning of the work, or on the protected disk, which will be automatically created on every start of StrongDisk Pro. In the case of automatically created protected disk you should also specify its size and name of its image-file with full path to it. See "Folder TEMP on Protected Disk" chapter for more details.

Clear pagefile at Windows shutdown. When working with Windows operating system some data from the computer›s RAM can be written to a so-called swap file, and they can be read from there after the work is finished. Some sensitive data can also get there, for example, as the contents of an edited document. To avoid data leakage through the swap file, you have to check the "Clear pagefile at Windows shutdown" checkbox. In this case at Windows shutdown the swap file will be automatically erased, thus making it impossible to recover any data from it.
