Instant Dismount Tab

Instant Dismount Hotkey. If you want to set up a hotkey that will dismount all the mounted protected disks, enter the letter or number of the hotkey in the "Hotkey" field. You can also set any combination of <Ctrl>, <Alt>, and <Shift> switches. If, for example, you check the <Ctrl> and <Alt> switches and enter the "D" letter, the hotkey will be <Ctrl>+<Alt>+<D>. If you uncheck all the <Ctrl>, <Alt>, and <Shift> checkboxes, and enter "ScrollLock" as a hotkey, the disks will be dismounted instantaneously when "ScrollLock" is pressed.

Force dismount if there are open files on the disk. Check this checkbox if you want all the protected disks to be dismounted when the hotkey is pressed, regardless of whether there are open files on them.

Dismount all protected disks if the el. key is removed. Check this checkbox if you want all the mounted protected disks to be dismounted when the electronic key is removed. If one of the disks to be dismounted contains an open file, a warning dialog is opened; if dismounting is not cancelled by pressing the "Cancel" button in this dialog, the disks are dismounted after a set timeout passes. Time before dismounting can be set in the corresponding field. If you want dismounting to be instantaneous, set the value of this field to 0.

Dismount all protected disks on user inactivity. Check this checkbox if you want all protected disks to be dismounted when a user is inactive for a set period of time and enter the desired time in the corresponding field.

Dismounting a protected disk when there are open files on it may lead to loss of unsaved data and system errors.
