Unzip Utility

Windows XP comes with a zip utility built in with the Windows explorer. With the built-in unzip feature you can open the zip file in a way similar to opening a file folder. Earlier versions Windows user can use any zip tools, including Winzip (http://www.winzip.com) and WinRAR (http://www.rarlab.com).

On Macintosh, you can download StuffIt Expander (http://www.stuffit.com). The basic expander edition is free.

Although unzip utilities look different, most of them support drag and drop operations. You may select all the files (including sub-folders), dragging and dropping them into a local folder to move the files from the zip file to your local disk.
