Padding Symbols

Most of Windows applications assume that SPACE character generates a blank space. To avoid conflicts, in SecurePay™ fonts the SPACE character produce the blank space. Two padding symbols are included in every typeface to produce padding. The equal sign (=) produces a right arrow padding =, the background in line with the background of other characters in the same typeface. The dash symbol (-) produces an empty padding with background matching other characters in the same typeface.
