Encrypt Files

There are 2 methods to encrypt a file using Invisible Secrets.

Method 1

  • Open Invisible Secrets.
  • Select Encrypt Files from the main page.
  • Select the files and folders you want to encrypt - to do this use Add Files / Add Folders or Add Files From Cryptboard buttons - and click Next button when you are done.
  • Choose the Password for the encryption (type the password and then retype it to confirm) and the Encryption Algorithm.
  • Click Encrypt button to start the encryption process.
  • You are done! Click Finish to close the window.

Method 2

  • Right click on the file(s) or folder(s) you want to encrypt and from the Invisible Secrets menu choose Encrypt.
  • Choose the Password for encryption (type and retype password to confirm it) and then select the Encryption Algorithm.
  • Click Encrypt button to start the encryption process.

Important: Do not forget the password. For security reasons Invisible Secrets 4 has no backdoors. If you forget the password the files are lost forever.
