Lock/Unlock Files

  • Run File Lock from C-Privacy.com and click on the Menu called Main.
  • The following screen will be available

To lock a filw

  • To lock a filw, select a suitable folder from the folder tree and then select a file from the file list.
  • Enter a password in the text box and repeat it in confirm password box
  • Click on the sub menu called Lock Files.
  • A locked file will show a different icon.

To Unlock a File Method 1

  • Select the suitable folder in the folder view and select a locked file.
  • Enter the password (if any) in the password box
  • Click on the sub menu called Unlock Files
  • You will see that the unlocked file will have a regular file icon.

To Unlock a File Method 2

Save Vault

  • Click on the sub menu called safe vault.
  • It has all the folders and files that you have locked, displayed at one place.
  • Select the file that you want to unlock,
  • Enter a suitable password
  • Click on Unlock File
  • Thats it.
