Lock File For Distribution

Protect File for secure distribution

Have you ever wanted to password protect your private photo file and send it by email, till now, password protecting any of these files for distribution was very difficult... Now it is just a matter of one click.

Protect File for secure distribution

unerase usb data keystroke logging digital picture unerase
professional data recovery data recovery utilities download download file recovery software
deleted partition recovery notebook recovery freeware password recovery

All you have to do is select a file to lock, select a location to save, enter a password and click Lock File.

This will generate an exe for you.

Now you can distribute the EXE. This exe, when run, will prompt first for a password before opening the file.

NOTE: Some email servers and spam software automatically filter exe files from email. Hence if you plan to send the exe file using email, then you should compress/zip the exe. This reduces the size of exe and makes a smaller attachment for your email.

The user would have to unzip this file and run the exe. Zip files are supported by default in XP. You don't need any third party zip extractors like WinZip, pkzip, winrar etc to view the contents of the zip file. You can see them directly on XP.

For other operating systems you have tons of free zip software such as winzip, pkzip, winrar etc.
