Selecting File Lists For Optimization

Selecting File Lists For Optimization

After you have clicked on “Batch Intelligent Optimization” in the file menu the following dialog appears:

You can select as many files as you want, from as many different directories as you want You can include subdirectories to compress complete folders. You can drag and drop any files and folders from the Windows Explorer into the files window. In case you just want to see how much your files get compressed, click on the “Preview only” button. Then your image files will actually not be saved to disk.

Important: The best way to add images and directories to the file list is to use the Windows Explorer to drag & drop them into the file list. You can also use "Add Images…" to add images to the file list, but you can't add directories through this way!.

After you have selected all desired images press the “Start Batch Optimization” button. Now you have to choose a destination directory, if you didn’t checked the checkbox ”Save into original directories”.
