Saturation

Increase saturation to make a picture more vivid and intense. Open an image and choose Image > Adjust > Saturation.

To create artistic effect:

Right click "Saturated" image above and choose File > Import Clipboard to create a new document

Choose Lasso tool and draw a selection around the apple

Choose Selection > Invert to select entire area excluding the apple

Choose Image > Adjust > Saturation and drag the slider left to desaturate the image

Choose Selection > Select None to remove the selection
