Testing & Executing Script

Testing a Script

Once you have selected images and created the script you can test the script on an image.

You can see how each of the transformation is applied before you execute the script on all the images.

To test a script:

  1. Do one of the following:

    • Select the Scripts tab and click New to create a new script.

    • Select a script in the Scripts tab and click Edit.

  2. Click the Preview button. The first preview image is the original.
  3. Click the Forward button in the preview toolbar. An arrow in the script window next to the command name will indicate the number of transformations applied to the preview.
At the top of the Preview window the number of steps is also indicated.
    e.g. Step 1 of 4 on image 3 of 7 (USATrip.jpg).
  4. Click the Back button to return to a previous transformation.

When testing the script, if an error is encountered the preview does not continue to display the transformations. The script still runs when executed and the errors are recorded in the log file.
